Description
The DRAGON EGG MK II backpack is a lightweight and versatile backpack designed for military and police use. This medium-sized bag is available in a wide range of camouflage and solid colors, making it an excellent choice for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and as a perfect Everyday Carry (EDC) bag.
The DRAGON EGG® MK II has a volume of over 25 liters, suitable for both short-term missions and as a larger EDC backpack for everyday use. The backpack has three zippered compartments. The main compartment contains a pocket for a water bladder, a mesh pocket, and a central exit for a drinking tube. The back pocket has a padded pocket for secure storage of multi-band radios or a laptop up to 15 inches. The front pocket of the Direct Action® DRAGON EGG® has a mesh pocket with zipper and internal organization for notepads, GPS, writing utensils and other small items. Two redesigned side pockets can hold small, flat items and are equipped with elastic that can be expanded to fit a standard field bottle or a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle. The bag also has a soft, velour-lined zippered pocket for glasses, cell phones, or similar items.
The Direct Action® DRAGON EGG MK II has a daisy chain strap along the seam of the front panel for attaching carabiners or other equipment. A laser-cut MOLLE/PALS-compatible system makes the backpack fully modular while maintaining a low profile. The oval shape provides less height and width than other packs with similar capacity, making it more comfortable when worn with belt kits or ballistic vests.
The suspension system consists of comfortable shoulder straps and internal back reinforcement. The waist belt is removable and can be stowed away.
The bag is made of durable 500D Cordura® nylon fabric with a water-repellent coating.
Combat Vent System® (CVS)
CVS is an innovative ventilation system that increases comfort. CVS® consists of contoured foam profiles with multiple air channels combined with airy mesh, which keeps the bag away from the back. This improves air circulation, reduces heat build-up and sweating, while the rigid foam ensures comfort and stability.
