Description
CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas bipods are made for shooters who want a bipod without pan, so the bore stays perpendicular to the legs. It has five independent leg positions (including the patented 45° position), 63° of adjustable preloaded cant, and a wide footprint.
BT69-NC is the tall CAL model with no clamp. NC means No Clamp — it requires a 17S-size mount or adapter to attach to a firearm. The interface uses a two-hole pattern of 1.100" with 10-32 threads. It can also bolt directly to a BT19 AI Spigot or BT70 M-LOK® adapter.
The bipod is made from 6061-T6 aluminum (inner legs from 7075-T6), with Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodize and heat-treated stainless steel components. Two 10-32 x 3/8" flat-head screws are included. Black only.
Adjustable, preloaded cant with an additional tension lever using the original KMW Pod-Loc®.

- Position button: 0.5" / 12.7 mm diameter
- 5 leg positions: 0, 45, 90, 135 and 180 degrees
- Non-rotating legs: Outer leg does not rotate around the inner leg
- Larger, stronger inner legs
- Weight: 14.4 oz / approx. 408 g
- Footprint: 9.25–16.5" / approx. 235–419 mm
Using the KMW “Pod-Loc®”
With the CAL bipod mounted on the rifle, lock and unlock the canting motion by turning the Pod-Loc® lever. Clockwise to lock, counterclockwise to unlock. Reposition the lever by pulling it straight out from the body and rotating it to the desired position. Repeat until the lever sits where you want it.
Preload on the cant is adjusted by removing the Pod-Loc and tightening or loosening the exposed nut in 1/8–1/4 turn increments.
Note: The Area 419 ARCALOCK Dual Clamp is longer and prevents full 360° rotation of the Pod-Loc lever. Function is not affected, because the lever can be moved to a position that clears the clamp.
Not compatible with the Magpul® QR Rail Grabber (MAG1196). Limited compatibility with the Really Right Stuff SC-ARC due to functional interference.
