DAA AR-15 Mag Pouch GEN-2

The DAA AR-15 Mag Pouch GEN-2 builds upon the proven performance of our AR-15 Racer Pouch and incorporates key design elements from our PCC pouches for Glock and MPX platforms.

The pouch body is injection-molded from durable, fiber-reinforced nylon to ensure strength, consistency, and a precise fit. Two adjustable retention screws allow you to fine-tune the magazine hold to your personal preference.

AR-15 magazines can be inserted with the bullets facing either forward or rearward, with equally secure retention in both orientations. Dual-sided cutouts accommodate the magazine catch form, ensuring full compatibility. The pouch works seamlessly with both polymer and metal AR-15 magazines. A beveled upper edge facilitates faster, smoother magazine insertion—ideal for demanding “pickup” stages.

The pouch body is fully ambidextrous, allowing the belt hanger’s ball joint to be mounted on either side and at two selectable height positions. The oversized ball joint attaches using two mounting screws and custom steel T-slot nuts, delivering exceptional strength and long-term durability.

The GEN-2 Belt Hanger is precision-machined from anodized aluminum and engineered to match the robustness of our holster ball-joint system. Compared to our pistol pouch hangers, it features a significantly larger and stronger design to withstand the additional leverage forces generated by longer AR-15 magazines and commonly preferred horizontal carry angles.

The ball-joint system allows precise angle and orientation adjustment, enabling you to position the magazine exactly to suit your draw and reload technique—enhancing both speed and consistency. The belt hanger includes a removable spacer to fit 1.5” and 1.75” belts. Mounting screws secure against a wide steel plate, ensuring maximum stability on your competition rig.
