TactX is an online retailer of weapon accessories, ballistic protection, sports shooting equipment, rifle and handgun parts, and outdoor gear. We ship internationally to most destinations from our warehouse in Stavanger, Norway. For larger orders, we may also drop-ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor when possible — contact us for details.
Shipping Methods
International orders (outside Norway) are shipped exclusively with UPS, with the exception of Svalbard (see below). Shipping costs vary based on volume and weight and are calculated at checkout.
Please note: Some products cannot be shipped internationally due to manufacturer or distributor restrictions.
Shipping to Svalbard
Yes, we ship to Svalbard.
- VAT is automatically deducted at checkout.
- Shipments are sent with Posten Norge (Norgespost).
- We handle the export declaration.
- The same restrictions that apply to international exports of weapon parts also apply to Svalbard. This means an export licence must be applied for by us when shipping weapon-related parts.
EU Shipping
EU customers benefit from a simplified process with taxes and duties handled at checkout:
- VAT and duty inclusive pricing: For orders under €150 (excluding shipping and taxes), all VAT and customs duties are included in the price shown at checkout. No additional charges should appear on delivery.
- Faster customs clearance: Orders under €150 generally clear customs more quickly.
- Shipping fees: Shipping costs are calculated separately and are not included in the €150 threshold.
- If local customs nevertheless charge additional fees, please contact us.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell ammunition and restricted gun parts? No. TactX is not a licensed firearms dealer and does not stock items that are restricted for general sale in Norway.
Are the parts I ordered legal in my country? We cannot determine this for you. When ordering from us, you are fully responsible for checking local import restrictions, any required paperwork, and all import duties or taxes.
Do I need an export licence? In most cases, no. The majority of products in our international store can be shipped from Norway without an export licence. However, certain items (particularly weapon parts) may require one. If your order needs an export licence, we will contact you with the necessary information and guide you through the process. The same rules apply to shipments to Svalbard.
Can I return my order? Yes, provided the items are in mint condition and suitable for resale as new. This includes all original packaging, which must be unbroken and undamaged.
We refund the amount you originally paid (not the current selling price). A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Please contact us before returning anything, and include your order number, a list of the items, and a description of their condition.
