Every time a magazine is fully loaded, it reduces the output torque of the spring by a small amount. Over time and with many cycles, the reduction in torque affects the magazines ability to feed reliably. A new replacement rotary magazine torsion spring is wound with missile wire to prolong the life of the spring and provide long-lasting performance.
