The guide rod cannot be used alone in standard Glock firearms, but must be combined with a recoil spring from Toni System for Glock 17/21/22/31/34/35 Gen 3/4/5. The Toni System recoil rod and recoil spring are installed as a replacement for the original Glock Recoil Spring Assembly. The system allows you to easily customize the firearm by changing the recoil spring.
