Description
Shield Arms Z9 Magazine is a steel 9-round magazine for the Glock 43. It has the same overall length as the factory Glock 43 magazine with pinky extension, but holds an additional 3 rounds.
The Z9 delivers a 50% increase in magazine capacity while maintaining the same reliability Glock pistols and magazines are known for. This is achieved through Shield Arms’ optimized magazine geometry, allowing more rounds in the same footprint without compromising function.
Mag Catch Recommendation
We strongly recommend replacing the factory plastic mag catch with a steel mag catch (either Shield Arms standard or premium version). Using the original polymer catch or mag catches from other manufacturers may result in reliability issues. The Z9 magazine is designed to work optimally with Shield Arms steel mag catches.
Powercron Finish
The Z9 features a durable Powercron cationic epoxy coating, offering excellent corrosion resistance. This finish is particularly well suited for humid or saltwater environments, or for users who sweat heavily during use. Note that slight cosmetic variations in the finish may occur between magazines due to different coating vendors. These variations are cosmetic only and do not affect performance.
