Description
The SAFE-PRO long-sleeved gray shirt with V-neck effectively protects against cuts, tears and bites from knives and sharp objects, as well as puncture injuries. Made from a lightweight and strong UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) material, the shirt is both comfortable and highly resistant. UHMWPE fibers have an impressive tensile strength of 3000 MPa, three times stronger than steel, making it ideal for durable and lightweight protective clothing.
With an increasing number of knife attacks in Europe and Norway, this shirt provides increased peace of mind, especially for police, healthcare workers and private individuals. The shirt is tested to cut level A5 (ANSI/ISEA 105-2016), requiring over 2200 grams to cut through the material, comparable to Level 5 in EN388:2003 and Level E in EN388:2016. It also provides Level 2 puncture protection, ideal for protection against bites.
The material consists of 50% polyethylene, 30% polyester and 20% cotton, and is machine washable on gentle cycle (max 20 degrees).
Please note that the product is not stab-proof (penetrating stabs where a knife is held directly against a person). The product is cut and tear resistant. It also provides protection against bites.
For protection against stabbing , hard plates are required. You can find these here in the online store.
