Description
Toni System fiber optic sight for shotgun with ribs less than 6,2 mm wide.
The optical fiber in the sight efficiently collects light from the surroundings and reflects all the light that hits it towards the shooter's direction. This property makes the sight appear as a luminous dot that is easy and quick to perceive.
Fiber optic sights can be used on their own as a luminous dot at the end of the shotgun rail, allowing for faster target acquisition. Alternatively, the front sight can be combined with a rear sight, providing three luminous dots, similar to the principle of iron sights on a handgun. When these three dots align in the same plane, and the dot on the front sight is centered, you can shoot precisely where you aim. The advantage of using a combined front and rear sight is more precise aiming compared to simply pointing the shotgun rail at the target.
It's important to note that fiber optic sights do not emit light by themselves in the dark. The sight requires ambient light to function, so it is best suited for daytime use. However, it is also effective in low-light conditions like dusk, as the sight will still capture light and be better illuminated than the rail and surroundings.
Material: Optical fiber and aluminum.
Installation
The sight is securely attached to the rail using the included set of screws and hex key.
