Lightweight and discreet plate carrier for stab proof plates
Traditional stab proof vests can often be thick, uncomfortable and difficult to hide under clothing. This minimalist vest is designed for optimal discretion and comfort, without compromising on protection.
The vest can be combined with our stab proof plates and gives you the option to use one or two plates - one at the front for chest/abdomen protection and one at the back for back protection. With a thickness of only 7 mm when the plates are in place, the vest can be worn directly over a t-shirt and is well concealed even under a thin garment like a shirt. Both the vest and the plates are flexible, adapt to the shape of the body and are comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
The vest covers the vital organs in the chest and abdomen, giving you effective protection where it's needed most. It is fastened with four Velcro straps - two across the shoulders and two around the waist - in elastic material for maximum mobility and comfort. To maintain a low profile, the straps are unlined. The front of the vest is covered with Velcro for secure fastening, but also offers the opportunity to attach badges or patches as desired.
The waistcoat is one-size: one size that fits those who normally wear between Small and 2XL.
When combined with our stab-resistant plates, which meet the NIJ Level 1 (KR1+SP1) standard for protection against stabs and other sharp objects, you get a highly effective protection system against stabs.
The vest weighs only 150 grams, and with two plates fitted, the total weight remains below 1 kg, making it an ideal solution for security guards, doormen, civilian police, healthcare professionals and others who need extra protection without compromising on freedom of movement. For maximum safety, we recommend the use of both front and rear plates.
To make it easier to customize your vest, you can choose between buying the vest only or the vest with included plates. Please note that the basic option “Carry vest only” does not include stab protection plates! Without plates, the vest provides no protection against stings.
