Ballistol Cleaning Plugs are the classic cleaning plugs made of absorbent pure sheep's wool mixed with brass fiber for cleaning extra dirty guns. The cleaning plugs are adapted to each individual caliber with strict tolerances.
When Ballistol Cleaning Plugs are placed on the adapter, they are marginally larger than the intended caliber. This ensures that the plugs polish evenly and accurately throughout the barrel and that all internal irregularities in the barrel are polished equally well.
These are designed to fit Ballistol cleaning plug adapters, but can be used with cleaning sticks and adapters from other manufacturers.
The plugs are available in sizes that cover a range of different calibers. Supplied in a handy plastic box with 60 (rifle caliber) or 30 (shotgun) plugs.
